Welcome to the Centre for Multigrade Education (CMGE)

The Centre for Multigrade Education is based in Wellington, South Africa. The Centre was established in 2009 through a grant from the Royal Netherlands Government.

Its MISSION is to establish an international centre for the development of frameworks and policies for quality instruction and learning in MG Education, based on research and good practises and distributed and supported through ICT.

Competition for all Multigrade Teachers! Best Practices for Multigrade Education

The Centre for Multigrade Education is inviting multigrade teachers from all grades to enter their best practices for a competition. Are you doing great things with your multigrade class in Mathematics and Language? Share your successes with us! Each month the best entry will be selected. At the end of the year the overall winner will be announced.
